The River Rats, a membership group of The Trinity Trust, is comprised of young enthusiasts dedicated to supporting The Trinity project.
AmeriCorps
The Trinity project works with AmeriCorps volunteers through many organizations, including Groundwork Dallas and Student Conservation Association. Annually, AmeriCorps offers 75,000 opportunities to serve through a network of partnerships with local and national nonprofit groups.
Boy Scouts of America/Circle 10 Council
Boy Scout of America Circle 10 Council: Boy Scout Troops throughout the council have provided hundreds of volunteer hours clearing trails, parks and sections of the river. The Trinity project has also been the recipient of several Eagle Scout projects.
Central Dallas Ministries
Well known for their outstanding charitable work throughout Dallas, Central Dallas Ministries recently launched their Summer Service Program at the renovated Texas Buckeye Trail located at 7000 Bexar Street when the group organized 150 volunteers to cut Privet along the Texas Buckeye Trail.
Student Conservation Association
This national, nature-advocacy organization works closely with The Trinity project and the Dallas Park and Recreation Department through Rochester Park’s maintenance of more than four miles of natural surface forest trail and builds a new section of trail in the 900-acre park.
Texas Rangers Foundation
Working with the City of Dallas in 2009, the Texas Rangers Foundation brought their annual summer camp program to The Trinity project, when children from the Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth spent each Thursday morning at the Trinity River Audubon Center’s Eco-Investigation Program.
