TxDOT Report: Major Lane Closures Early Saturday on Southbound I-35E

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is allowing intermittent, full road closures on southbound Interstate 35E (I-35E) near downtown Dallas on Saturday, June 27, from 7 to 10 a.m.

During the closures, workers will set bridge beams for the new Woodall Rodgers Extension over I-35E. All closures are weather permitting, will begin near Continental Avenue and will last about 10 minutes each, depending on conditions. Dallas Police will assist with the full closures, which will temporarily stop all traffic on the highway for as much as 10 minutes as bridge beams are set in place.
