Press Release: Todd Howard Addresses Trinity Trust on the Climate Crisis, Caring for the Community and Legislating for Change
On November 17, 2008, The Trinity Trust Foundation presented Todd Howard, founder and president of t. howard + associates architects, for its Living Green Series to inform the public on how to be better stewards of the environment. Entitled “The Climate Crisis,” Howard spoke about how the community can take better care of the environment by recycling, using less energy and natural resources, and legislating for change, among other things.
A native Dallasite, Howard graduated from St. Mark’s School of Texas and attended Texas A&M University, where he developed a plan to start a recycling program that still exists on the campus today. He is actively involved in legislative issues related to climate change and the impact that the built environment has on CO2 emissions. He is a graduate of Leadership Dallas, the President-Elect of the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the Texas Business for Clean Air Coalition, a member of The Real Estate Council and serves on the City of Dallas Green Task Force. As a member of Architecture 2030, his firm is committed to reducing carbon emissions through architectural design.
