Press Release: The Trinity Trust’s River Rats Hold Happy Hour

The Trinity Trust Foundation, which raises private funds for the Trinity project, held a happy hour and dinner on June 13, 2008 for the River Rats of the Trinity Trust, sponsored by JPI and LOPEZGARCIA GROUP. Led by Lynn McBee, the River Rats is for those under 50 years old. This group first formed in 2007 under the leadership of Erika Huddleston and has more than 130 charter members.

Huddleston hosted a happy hour in her home in Oak Cliff, one of Goodspace's restored 1920s buildings, and then the group walked to dinner at nearby Tillman’s Roadhouse in the Bishop Arts District.

McBee said, “This group has a lot of energy and great ideas. We invite those who are looking to support the Trinity project to join the River Rats, so that you can meet other like-minded individuals who want to restore the Trinity to all its beauty and glory.”
